Edgar lived in Georgia. He fought in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. He was wounded July 10, 1863 in the retreat after the Battle of Gettysburg. He was captured two days later at Hagerstown, Maryland.
If Edgar's parents married in 1858, how could he have possibly been olf enough to fight in the Civil War? He must not belong with these parents.
