COLEMAN (RNS)---W. P. Bodine, 67, former resident of the Goldsboro community and resident of Texarkana, Tex., for about 20 years, died early Thursday in Goldsboro while he was visiting friends.

He suffered an apparent heart attack.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the West Texarkana Baptist Church, with burial in the Chapelwood Memorial Cemetery.

Stevens Funeral Home here was in charge of local arrangements.

Born in Centerville, Tex., Aug. 24, 1896, he moved from the Goldsboro community in 1939 to Texarkana.

He was married in Pineville, La., May 28, 1928, to Miss Edith Mary Brown. He was a retired welder, member of the West Texarkana Baptist Church, and World War I veteran.

Survivors include his wife of Texarkana; three sons, Donald E. of Corpus Christi, Darrel D. of Dallas and Michael D. of Texarkana; two daughters, Lois E. Duvall of Irving and Miss Wilene Bodine of Texarkana; one brother, J. A. of Norman, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Susan Rose of Goldsboro; five grandchildren.
