1st marriage--1855--DEWITT C. RICHMAN.
Obituary, Daily Leader (Davenport, IA) of Friday, 27 Jan 1899.
D. C. Richman of Muscatine, died Wednesday evening at his home after an illness of some duration. He was born in Somerset, Perry county, Ohio, Sept. 1, 1826, and consequently was 73 years old. He has resided at Muscatine since 1853. He was appointed judge of the circuit court of Muscatine and Scott counties in 1878, which position he filled until 1882.


2nd marriage--1907--JOHN INGHAM KINSEY.

John Ingham Kinsey, 80, born in Easton, PA, son of Phillip M. & Maria Kinsey AND Mary Birdine, 72, born in Belvidere, NJ, dau. of Jacob Cook & Matilda (Hawk) Birdine, 2nd marriage for both parties, were married 22 May 1907 in Muscatine by Bayant C. Preston, Pastor.

From Sioux City (IA) Journal of Thursday, 23 May 1907:
Muscatine, Io., May 22.---John I. Kinsey, of Easton, Pa., millionaire associate of Andrew Carnegie, was married here today to Mrs. Mary Richman, widow of D. C. Richman, judge and poet, and mother of Irving B. Richman, ex-state senator, formerly consul general to Switzerland and a noted historian. The bride is 73 and the bridegroom 87. Mr. Kinsey and Mrs. Richman were sweethearts early in youth, but her girlish fancy chose a younger husband. They have always been friends and when, a year ago, Mrs. Kinsey died, the old love waxed strong again and the long postponed wedding was celebrated today.

From the Iowa Death Certificate of Mary Berdine Kinsey, widow of D. C. Richman & John I. Kinsey, was born 11 Jan 1835 in New Jersey, dau. of Jacob & Matilda (Hawk) Berdine, died 30 Jan 1922 at the Old Ladies Home In Muscatine, and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery. C.B. Richman, son, informant.

Obituary, Quad-City Times (Davenport, IA) of Tuesday, 31 Jan 1922.
Muscatine, Iowa, Jan. 31.---Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock funeral services will be held from the First Congregational church for the late Mrs. Mary B. Kinsey with Rev. W. M. Vittum officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood and the services will be private. Mary Berdine was born Jan. 11, 1835 near Trenton, N.J. She married Judge Dewitt C. Richman at Brooklyn, N.Y. Sept. 20, 1855, and came to Muscatine immediately after. They were the parents of two children, Irving B. Richman of this city and one son Scott C., who died in infancy. Judge Richman died in 1899 and in 1900 his widow married John I. Kinsey of Easton, Pa., who also preceded her in death. She leaves her son, Irving B., of this city and one grandchild, Grace Elizabeth McMath of Bethlehem, Pa.
