Notes for: Lydia Adaline Bodine

From Ronny Bodine (Nov 9, 2018):

In November 1832, Lydia Adeline Bodine was named as the daughter of Henry Bodine and was a minor under the age of 14 and Jacob Wandling (her uncle) was appointed her guardian until she reached the age of 14. On 1 June 1841, Lydia, now a minor over 14, having property valued at $1000, petitioned the Orphans Court to appoint Jacob Wandling as her guardian. (Warren County Orphans Court Minutes, 1:260 and 2: 196).

If in Nov 1832 she was under 14 and in June 1841 was over 14 she may have been born 1826 or 1827. But if so, she is not listed in the 1830 census with her parents where only two females are listed, one 20-29 and one 30-39.
