Tommie Lee Wright was born April 26, 1923 in San Augustine, TX. She died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the age of 92. She lived in Beaumont 71 years. She worked as a secretary for over 20 years for Ridgewood Church of Christ. Before that she owned a beauty salon and was a hairdresser for over 20 years. She was a faithful member of Ridgewood Church of Christ since 1963. She is survived by her three daughters: Betty Tompkins and husband Miles of The Woodlands, TX, her daughter Lou Scott of Bryan, TX, and her daughter Cheryl Probst and husband Brian of Lumberton, TX. She had seven grandsons: Todd Tompkins and wife Paige of Franklin, TX, Derek Scott & wife Kim of Franklin, TX, Greg Tompkins of The Woodlands, TX, Brian Scott & wife Jennifer of Denver, CO., Seth Simon of Lumberton, TX, Chris Probst & wife Whitney of Silsbee, TX, and Troy Simon of Lumberton, TX., eleven great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at South Park Church of Christ on Friday, April 22nd at 11:00am. Arrangements have been made with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
