He was first married to Miss Florence Wheeler of Shelby County, Texas. His second marriage was to Mrs. N. P. Ellington. The cemetery at Liberty Hill Baptist Church is on Highway 147, a few miles north of San Augustine, Texas. The grave marker is modern and was probably placed by Taylors in the area.
