Tom Bodine of San Augustine County said that she either married a Stubblefield after the death of Alexander Strong or that her maiden name was Stubblefield. At the time of the 1870 Census of Shelby County, Texas, she was shown to have three sons and one daughter. The sons were from her former marriage to a _____ Swanza and the daughter was the child of her second marriage to A. Strong. The name Swanza was later changed to Swanzy and it is thought that one of the sons became a judge in Shelby county.
