BODINE, JASON M., 29 - of Villas, died on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 in Fredericksburg, VA. Born in Cape May Court House, he was a lifelong area resident. Surviving are his mother, Teresa Linney; father, John Bodine; son, Jason, Jr.; brother of John, Jessica, Helen, grandparents, Joan and Joseph Raffaele; and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 218 Bayshore Rd., North Cape May, where friends may call from 10AM. Burial will be private. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the charity of your choice.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA. - Funeral services will be Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. for Villas resident Jason Michael Bodine, 29, who was struck and killed on Nov. 9 as he attempted to cross Interstate 95 at 3:05 a.m. According to a report published in The Free Lance-Star, the local newspaper, Bodine was attempting to cross the northbound lanes of I-95 near Exit 126 with a friend when an MCI tour bus mirror struck him, according to Maryland State Trooper Sgt. F.L. Tyler. Bodine died at the scene some 20 minutes later, police reported. The other pedestrian walking with Bodine, who was not identified, was not injured. According to the report, there were no charges filed in the crash, and none were expected. Bodine was born in Court House, and was a lifelong Cape May County resident. He is survived by his mother, Teresa Linney; father, John Bodine; son, Jason Jr., siblings, John, Jessica and Helen; and grandparents, Joan and Joseph Raffaele; and many aunts and uncles. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at Evoy Funeral Home, 218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May. Burial will be private. The family asks that memorials be made to the charity of one's choice.

Note: Siblings Jessica and Helen are the children of Theresa Raffaele Bodine and her 2nd husband Michael D. Linney (1954-1999).
