Wallace D. Bodine, 52, of 441 Manufacturers Rd., an employee of the Electric Power Board, died Friday morning in a local hospital. Mr. Bodine was a member of Local 946 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth M. Sherrell and Mrs. Tommy J. Smith, both of Hixson; a son, Dallen Bodine of Chattanooga; three sisters, Mrs. Joe Burrows, Mrs. J. V. Heard and Mrs. Jack Spence, all of Chattanooga; four brothers, Earl, Cecil and Fred Bodine, all of Chattanooga, and Harry Lemons of Chattanooga; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Chattanooga Funeral Home, West Chapel with the Rev. Willard Peak officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

BODINE, BERTHA E., 85, of Hixson, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997, in a local hospital. She was of the Church of God faith and the mother of the late Virginia Faye Smith. Survivors include her daughter, Janey B. Sherrell, Hixson; son, Dallen Bodine, Chattanooga; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Kenneth Essex officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to North West Hamilton County Outreach, P.O.
