Leonard Bodine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bodine of Vauxhall, N.J. and Miss Dorothy Jean Powell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Powell of Lexington were married 9 July in Newark by Rev. Sharper of New Jersey. Mr. Russell Bodine, brother of the groom, was best man. Mrs. Dolores Hicks, sister of the groom, was matron of honor.

Leonard William Bodine, 67, of Stephen Drive, died Thursday, June 20, at V.A. Medical Center in Salisbury. The funeral will be Tuesday at Frances S. & Jerry C. Gilmore Jr. Memorial Chapel at Gilmore's Funeral Home in Lexington by the Rev. H. B. Waters. Burial will be in National Cemetery. Mr. Bodine was born July 15, 1928, in Newark, N.J. to Russell Bodine and Eva Harvey Bodine. He was a Navy veteran and a former employee of the U.S. Postal Service. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Bodine of the home; a son, Joseph Bodine of Jersey City, N.J.; two daughters, Jacqueline Bodine of Lexington and Jennifer Bodine of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren; and three brothers, Russell Bodine Jr and Donald Bodine, both of Vaux Hall, N.J., and Robert Bodine of Rochester, N.Y. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
