Mike Willis, 42, a lifelong resident of Durant, died Thursday at Bryan Memorial Hospital. Service is set for 10 a.m. Monday in the Dalton-Holmes Funderal Home with the Rev. Billy Bush officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery. The family will be at the Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday to receive friends. Willis, a truck driver, was born January 8, 1942. He is survived by his mother, Charlene Work, Denison; three sons, Dennis, Dallas; Carroll Michael Jr., Durant; and Robert Claborn, Durant, two daughters LaDynna Bartlett, Wright City; and Carla Marie Willis, Durant; two brothers, James Robert Linder III, Callisburg, Texas, and Charles Clinton Linder, Denison, one sister, Patricia Gail Newsom, Denison; and his former wife, Linda, Durant. Bearers for Monday's service will be Robert Claborn, Billy Bodine, Billy Ray Martin and Douglas Parrot.

Linda C. Willis, a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, was joined with her Savor in Heaven, on Friday February 03, 2017 at the age of 69 years 6 months and 6 days. She was born in Durant, Oklahoma on July 12, 1947 to William Lloyd Bodine, Sr. and Christine M. (Ebert) Norman. Linda was of the Baptist Faith. She was employed by the Bryan County Sheriff's Department as a jailer, and reserve officer. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching the television program Ninja Warrior and tending to her flowers. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Mrs. Willis is survived by her son, Robert Claborn and wife Erika of Durant, Oklahoma; son, Michael Willis and wife Niki of Whitewright, Texas; daughter, Carla Baugus and husband Jerry of Durant, Oklahoma; son, Charles Willis and wife Essie of Durant, Oklahoma; sister, Mary Hunt of Lone Oak, Texas; brother, Billy Bodine and wife Mary of Hugo, Oklahoma; sister, Martha Canipe and husband Yates of Durant, Oklahoma; sister, Margie Lyday of Durant, Oklahoma; Lori Grewing and husband Keith of Durant, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren. Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her parents, William Bodine and Christine Norman; and husband, Carroll Michael Willis, Sr. Family Hour will be 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home on Sunday, February 5, 2017 before the service. Linda's mother married Oliver Norman as her 2nd husband and Margie and Lori were their children. Margie was born Feb 1962 and I found Lori called Lori Norman Grewing. As to Robert Claborn, he was born 28 March 1966...
