Victoria L. Bodine, 31, of Canadensis, died Tuesday morning, May 14, at the VNA Hospice House in East Stroudsburg. Born on February 12, 1982 in Scranton, she lived in Monroe County for most of her life. A graduate of Marywood University, Vicky was a physicians' assistant practicing in Florida before her illness. She is survived by her father, David D. Bodine of Mountainhome; her mother, Janet (Rozelle) Daeschler and her husband Jack of Canadensis; three children, Brianna, Justin and Skylar; a brother, Myles Bodine of Canadensis; four step-sisters, Melissa, Sarah, Emily and Lindsey and aunts and uncles, Barbara and Carl Locher, Ruthann and Robert Coolbaugh and William and Janice Bodine, Jr. There will be a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00AM Monday, May 20, at the Canadensis United Methodist Church. The memorial service will begin at 11:00AM Monday at the church with the Rev. George Alt officiating. Private cremation took place at the H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a fund for her childrens' education, c/o Pennstar Bank in Mountainhome.
