Mrs. Jane Purdy, of 82 Dale Avenue, died last night after a long illness. A native of Peekskill, Mrs. Purdy moved to this Village about 56 years ago. Her Husband, Esmeraldo Purdy, passed away in 1920. Mrs. Purdy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Peekskill, the Daughters of Revolution and the Good Templars. She is survived by two sons, Robert R. and Joseph H. Purdy; one daughter, Mrs. Della Purdy and two grandchildren, Mrs. Mary Rae and Miss Ruth Purdy. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon from the Waterbury Home, Croton Avenue, Ossining, with interment in Bethel Cemetery, Croton. The Rev. William H. Austin, pastor of the Highlands Avenue Methodist Church of Ossining will be in charge.
