Female Bodine born 17 Nov 1887 in Ocean County to E. L. Bodine, 31 and Ella Clayton, 22.

From Red Bank Register (Red Bank, N.J.) of 17 April 1918.
Miss Alma Bodine of Peters place and Mr. Arthur E. Baker of Brooklyn were married last Wednesday morning at Grace Methodist parsonage by Rev. Norman V. Sargent. The attendants were Miss Estelle Baker and C. Roy Cox. The couple left on a wedding trip to Connecticut. They live at Jersey City.

In 1930-1940, Arthur and Alma Baker lived in Fair Haven, Monmouth County where Arthur worked as an accountant.

In 1942, Arthur Edward Baker registered for the World War II Draft as a resident of Fair Haven, NJ. He reported he was born 25 Aug 1882 in Brooklyn, NY and that Alma Baker was his next of kin.

Arthur E. Baker died June 1955 in Fair Haven, Monmouth County.
Alma B. Baker died 4 Aug 1970 in Madison Twp., Middlesex County.

FAIR HAVEN---Arthur Edward Baker, 72, died Friday afternoon at his home, 86 Third st., after a long illness. Mr. Baker was born in Brooklyn, son of the late Edward and Caroline Ashman Baker, and had been a resident here 35 years. Until his retirement he was a bookkeeper with Red Bank Motors. He was a member of the Fair Haven Methodist church. Surviving are his wife, Alma Bodine Baker, and a sister, Miss Estelle M. Baker, Brooklyn. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Worden funeral home, with Rev. William B. Magtarn, pastor, officiating. Burial was In Fair View cemetery.

RED BANK---Mrs. Alma P. Baker, 82, of 29 Peters Pl., died yesterday at Emory Manor Nursing Home, Madison Township. She was the widow of Arthur E. Baker. Mrs. Baker was born in Barnegat, Union Township, and had lived here for the past 40 years. She was a member of the Fair Haven Methodist Church, and was an organist there for many years. She was also a member of the Daughters of Liberty, Fair Haven. She is survived by two cousins. The Worden Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. [Note: Madison Township was changed to Old Bridge Township in 1975.]
