Gary B. Bodine, 37, of San Francisco, died Aug. 18 in a San Francisco hospital after a lengthy illness. A native of Stockton, Mr. Bodine had lived in San Francisco 12 years. He formerly was employed as a data processor. Survivors include his mother, Carol J. Hood of Stockton; a sister, Gayle L. Schmidt of Stockton; a brother, Ben Bodine of Lodi; his grandmother, Vera Lanahan of Stockton; three half-sisters; and two half-brothers. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 306 E. Clay St., Stockton.
