Ralph Bodine served in the U.S. Army from Sept. 1946 to Feb 1948 and the U.S. Navy from Dec 1948 to July 1967. Betty Oakley is the daughter of Ezra Z. and Alma (Weatherford) Oakley.

From Monroe County, Florida Marriage Records:
Ralph Hung [sic] Bodine AND Ula M. Studley were married 1951. [Note: Ula was the daughter of Fred Edward and Ula Mae (Porterfield) Champion. She was divorced from John Patrick Studley in 1951 in Monroe County and was later divorced from Ralph Bodine. In 1955, in Monroe County, Ula Mae Bodine married Tommie Ray Baggett and in 1959 in Freeport, Texas married Lloyd Mac Hunter.]

ORANGEBURG - Memorial services for Ralph H. Bodine, 72, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg. Friends may call at the residence, 3566 Neeses Highway, Orangeburg and at the funeral home. Mr. Bodine died Saturday. Surviving are his wife, Betty Bodine of Orangeburg; daughter and son-in-law; Lesley and Morris Mallard, both of Orangeburg; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Pamela Bodine of Wilmington, N.C.; grandchildren, Shawn Lovell, Ashley Bodine, Jay Foster.

Ula May Hunter, 81 years old, of Pascagoula, Miss., departed this life at Pascagoula's Singing River Hospital on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, after a long illness. Mrs. Hunter was born on Sept. 20, 1926, in Jefferson, Ohio; and lived in Key West, Fla., and in Freeport, Texas, before moving to the Pascagoula area 48 years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ula Mae Champion; two brothers, Lauren and William Champion; and sister, Frankie Joann Barness. Graveside funeral services will be held at Jackson County Memorial
Park.
