The death of Mary Phillips is recorded in the Meigs County Vital Statistics-Births and Deaths. Her cause of death was attributed to consumption (tuberculosis). According to several family members, including her grandson, Frank Roberts, of Chattanooga, Mary is buried in an unmarked grave in Hornsby Chapel Cemetery, Meigs County.
George Phillips was living 1910 in Roane County. He gave his occupation as farm laborer.
