On 5 June 1917, Archibald Charles Pye registered for the World War 1 draft in Oakland, California. He reported he was born 2 March 1893 in Chicago, Illinois, worked as a clerk for the Western Pipe & Steel Co. and was single. In 1942, he provided the same details when he registered for the World War II draft in Oakland and named Clara B. Pye as his next of kin.
