Abrm. Bodine of New Brunswick died of cholera Monday evening.

Harriet Berdine, 74, widow, died 27 Feb 1881 in New Brunswick, Middlesex County aged 74 years, 4 months.

Note: The grave stones in this cemetery were meticulously examined and recorded and these records are available through The New Brunswick Public Library. The remaining inscription was deciphered as Abraham Bordine died J 1819 Aged 45 Years 1 Mos. 9 Days. Another reading of this stone placed the date of death as 25 June 1843 with the same age at death. Since it is known from the 1850 Mortality Schedule that Abraham Bordine died in June 1849, the correct reading for "J 1819" should be 25 June 1849 and thus his birth would have occured 16 May 1804.

Abraham, a farmer and speculator, for a time kept a hotel in New Brunswick, and died of the cholera in 1849.
