In December 1942, June met her sweetheart, William Merrill Bodine, where they worked together at a defense manufacturing plant in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Merrill asked June to marry him on their second date and she said "yes". After they were married on May 29, 1943, they lived in Ann Arbor moving to Westminster, Colorado on October 31, 1973. *****End of info from Ronny

Ronny added later: Helen may have fibbed when they married so she appeared older that she really was. The 1940 census shows her 16 years old. Since she was born in October and the census was taken in April her birth would have been in October 1923 which matches the obit. 1923 it is.
