SODUS---Abrahm Bodine, 76, died yesterday (July 19, 1960) in Myers Community Hospital where he had been receiving treatment after suffering a stroke several days previously at his home on 17 Union St. He was a native of Williamson, but had lived in Sodus for 60 years. He was a carpenter by trade and worked in that capacity until three years ago when he was forced to retire because of an injury he received in an accident while working. He is survived by his wife, Louise; two brothers, Peter and Jacob, both of Sodus; one sister, Mrs. George Parlow of Adams; also several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home of the H. S. Norton Co., Main Street, Sodus, where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Milton T. Jefferson, pastor of Third Methodist Church, officiaating. Burial will be in Sodus Rural Cemetery. Friends may contribute to the Myers Community Hospital Fund.

NEWARK---Mrs. Louise S. Bodine, 76, died today at Newark Wayne Community Hospital. Friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home Inc., Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m Saturday from the funeral home. Burial will be in Sodus Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Finger Lakes Heart Chapter in her memory. Mrs. Bodine was born in Manchester Dec. 18,1898, daughter of William and Sophia Wilck. She was a former resident of Sodus for over 40 years and a resident of Newark for over 15 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Society. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Lillian Woodard of Newark; three brothers, George and Charles Wilck, both of Newark, and Henry Wilck of Lyons; and several nieces and nephews.
