Ruth Ann Wilson, age 87, Overland Park, KS, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2013. She is survived by her husband, John "Mike" Wilson of Overland Park, KS, and her daughter, Lisa Wilson of Holden, MA. Ruth graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in accounting. In recent years, she was active in a variety of civic affairs, particularly advocacy for the preservation of her neighborhood. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Great Plains SPCA, 5428 Antioch Drive, Merriam, KS 66202.
