Subject: Warren Bodine - Photo

Hello Dave,

I so appreciate you replying and forwarding the Warren photo to Dawn. No, I do not know Dawn or anyone in the Bodine family. Emma Gaynor would be my great aunt as John S. Gaynor is my great grandfather and they were siblings.

I do have a little bit of info on Patrick Gaynor and his wife, Mary Smith Gaynor. I have attached 4 doc's about Mary and I have other documents that I can send, if you are interested. From my research, Mary Smith Gaynor was about 75 years old when she passed and immigrated from Ireland in 1864 at age 19.

For Patrick Gaynor, I cannot locate a death certificate/index, but I have census docs and death info on his children that I can share? Patrick died prior to 1920 as far as I can tell.

My father, James Morrison, Jr. was married in Brooklyn in 1943 and had two children. James Jr. and his wife, Shirley moved to Los Angeles, CA. in about 1952. In 1955 his wife, Shirley, filed for divorce and returned to Brooklyn, NY. My father stayed in Los Angeles where he met my mother, married and had more kids in the 60's and 70's (one of those is me). As a child, maybe in 1975, my dad, my older brother and I went to visit my grandmother, Alice Gaynor Morrison in Brooklyn. That is the only memory I have of going to Brooklyn and I don't remember visiting with anyone else or meeting other family members. I am trying to piece together my father's life when he lived in Brooklyn. There is no one alive to ask questions to and he didn't have or save photos of the prior generation. Some older photos I have I received from my uncle Richard, but they are not labeled, so it is frustrating trying to put names, faces and places together.

I can share what I have which isn't that much, but it does give a skeleton for putting a Gaynor tree together.

Thank you again for replying and please let me know if you would like more info?

Have a happy holiday weekend,

MaryAlice Morrison
