From Cumberland County Birth Records: Harry Bodine, born "out of wedlock" to Emma Bodine on 26 Feb 1888 in Bridgeton. In June 1900, he was living with Thomas and Rebecca Bodine and noted as their nephew. In April 1910, he lived in Coshocton, Coshocton County, Ohio with his wife Elizabeth. On 15 June 1917, he registered for the World War 1 draft in Coshocton County, Ohio. He reported he was born 28 Feb 1889 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, was employed as a waiter and was married and had children. He was still living Jan 1920 in Coshocton. In 1942, he registered for the World War II draft in Canton, Stark County, Ohio and reported his birth as 25 Feb 1889 in Bridgeton, New Jersey. Elizabeth Bodine was his nearest kin. Harry and Elizabeth Bodine appear in the 1952 Canton City Directory. Harry Bodine's obituary appeared in The Canton Repository of 10 Nov 1961.

Cuyahoga Falls---Mrs. Elizabeth Bodine of 1649 Twenty-third st., and formerly of Canton, died Monday in Akron City Hospital. Born in Ann Arbor, Mich. she lived most of her life in Canton and was a member of the Church of the Savior United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bodine had been living with her son Harry R. Bodine in the Falls for the last 11 years. She also leaves a daughter Mrs. Ethel B. Hurst, Canton; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services will be Wednesday at the Reed funeral home in Canton. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery in Canton. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
