In April 1930, Ralph and Helen Bodine lived in Middletown where Ralph worked as a chauffeur. In April 1940, Helen Bodine lived alone in Middletown and Ralph Bodine lived with his parents, also in Middletown. He reported he was still married.

On 20 Aug 1942 Ralph T. Bodine, born 1902, of Orange Co., NY, enlisted at Fort Jay Governor's Island, NY as a Private in the U.S. Army. He was divorced, without dependents.

Ralph T. Bodine, born 20 Oct 1902, served in the US Army 20 Aug 1942 to 15 July 1945, last with Hdqrs, Squadron, 9th BADA, as a Corporal, died 14 Jan 1962 and was buried in Hillside Cemetery, Middletown, NY.

MIDDLETOWN - Blanche Bodine, 79, of 30 South St., died Saturday at the Earle Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Elmhurst, Pa Nov 22, 1896 to Elmer and Anna Brutzman Seeley. She was a resident of the area most of her life. She was married to the late Ralph Bodine. Mrs. Bodine is survived by a sister, Mrs. John Jenkins of Honesdale, Pa. Services will be held at 2 p m. Tuesday at the Hasbrouck Funeral Chapel, 208 North St. Middletown. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m today at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Middletown.
