Notes for: Nelson Ward Bodine

In the 1910 Census, it looks like he was living in Eagle Gorge, King Co., WA with several other men. He was born in NY and was 30 years old.

It looks like he may have still been living out in King Co., WA during the 1920 Census with an Evans family. Andrew and Katherine Evans were about the same age as this Nelson. I wonder if they were cousins; although, I'm not convinced his grandmother was an Evans.

From Ronny Bodine:

A resident of Eagle Gorge, King County, Washington in 1910 and of Seattle, King County in 1920. On 12 Sept 1918 in Seattle, Nelson Ward Bodine registered for the World War I draft. He reported he was born 7 Dec 1880, worked as a longshoreman, and that his mother, Josephine Bodine was his next of kin. He is listed as a longshoreman in the 1921 Seattle City Directory and the 1926 San Pedro, California City Directory, in the latter, with a wife, Hilda.

From California Death Records:
