3--Robert L. Bodine AND Gunwor [sic] S. Berg were married 4 April 1946. [Note: On 30 April 1956 in Cook County, Gunvar [sic] Bodine married Vito M. Scavo.]

On 5 June 1917, Robert L. Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Chicago, Illinois. He reported he was born 10 Nov 1893 in Omaha, Nebraska, worked as an automobile demonstrator for the Mitchell Auto Company of Chicago, and was single. In April 1930, R. L. and Myrtle Bodine lived in Chicago where Robert worked as a Public Services Salesman and Myrtle worked as a Insurance Clerk. In 1942, Robert Lester Bodine, of Elmwood Park, registered for the World War II draft in Chicago. He reported being employed by People's Gas Light & Coke of Chicago and named Myrtle Bodine as his next of kin.

Lydia Bodine, wife of Robert Bodine, daughter of Fred Best and Matilda Heindenreick, born 4 Sept 1892 in Chicago, died 16 Nov 1925 in Chicago. Buried Eden Cemetery.

Myrtle Bodine, dau. of Frank & Ann (Jackson) Ryan, wife of Robert Bodine, died 9 July 1945 in Oak Park, Cook County, aged 46.

Member of Chicago Norske Club and Peoples Gas Co. post. No. 336, A. L. Service Friday, 2 p.m. at funeral chapel, 4338 Fullerton avenue. Interment Rosehill.

[Note: Lillian Berg Veenes, born 28 Jan 1928 and Nancy Berg, born 1932, are children of Gunvor and her 1st husband. Henry Berg, with whom they lived in Chicago in 1940.]
