In April 1910, Albert and Nellie Bodine lived with their respective parents. Nellie with hers in Fugit Township, Decatur County. She reported being a widow with one child. On 12 Sept 1918, Albert Raymond Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Indianapolis, Indiana. He reported he had been born 20 June 1883, worked as a collector for the Wheeler Brothers Finance Company and Alvah Bodine was his next of kin. In April 1930, Albert R. Bodine, age 47 and a widower, lived with his parents in Tulsa, Oklahoma working as an automobile salesman. Nellie (Rutherford) Bodine was the daughter of David and Nancy (Glidewell) Rutherford. After April 1930 she married Elmer Patton.

Albert Raymond Bodine, 23, of Indianapolis, painter, born in Clarksburg, Indiana, son of Alvah A. Bodine & Nellie Cartmel AND Nellie B. Rutherford, born in Clarksburg, dau. of David Rutherford & Nancy Glidewell, were married 20 June 1904 in Greensburg by Geo. C. Clouds, Minister.

1920 (26 Jan) Fugit Twp., Decatur Co.: Darrol RUTHERFORD 76 Canada widowed Farmer, Will 42 IN son, Nel BODINE 35 IN widowed Housekeeper, Ramond 13 IN son, Besse 32 IN dau Housekeeper. [Note: Raymond was the son of Nel; Besse appears as a Bodine, but was the daughter of Darrol as her father was born in Canada.]
1930 (22 April) Fugit Twp., Decatur Co.: Will RUTHERFORD 52 IN single, Nell BODINE 40 IN widowed sister, Ramond 22 IN single nephew Farmer
1940 (9 April) Fugit Twp., Decatur Co.: Elmer PATTON 52 IN Farmer, Nell 50 IN wife; Raymond BODINE 30 IN single stepson Farmer.
In 1942, Albert Raymond Bodine of Tulsa, Oklahoma registered for the World War II Draft abd reported he was born 20 June 1882 in Clarksburg, Indiana and that his mother, Mrs. Nellie Bodine of Tulsa was his next of kin.
