James R. Bodine, age 61, of Bridgeport, passed away in his sleep Friday, July 5, 2013 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother; he leaves behind his wife of 35 years Karen and their sons, Jim and his wife Jazmin, Chris, Steven and his fiancé Tracy and their son Mason, David and his wife Sharon, as well as his son Jonathan and daughter Megan by his first wife, and his brothers Rodger and Tim. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield, 2475 Easton Tpke., Fairfield. At Jim's request friends and family are asked to dress casual.
