FYFFE, Ala. -- Arnold L. Gilbert died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at his home. He was 90. He was a teacher in Dekalb County, Ala., and Sullivan County, Tenn., with 45 years of service. He was a member of Fyffe Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Hazel McGullian. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Ramsey Gilbert. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Rev. Travis Warlick and the Rev. Earnest Corbitt officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Erline Bodine age 97, of Huntsville, formerly of Arab passed away Tues. March 14, 2017, at Madison Manor Nursing Home in Huntsville. Ms. Bodine was born on May 24, 1919, the daughter of Willie and Pollie Pate Bodine. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Jacksonville State and received her Master's Degree from the University of Alabama. She taught 5th grade in the Guntersville School System. She is survived by her Nieces and Nephews: Linda Bodine of Dallas, TX, Carolyn Pela of Phoenix, AZ, Mike Bodine of Atlanta, GA, Douglas Bodine of Murrayville, GA, Butch Bodine of Memphis, TN and David Bodine of Lebanon, TN. A Graveside Service will be held on Sat. March 18, 2017, at 3 PM at Arab Memorial Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
