Sarah Bodine, age 18 and single, lived with her family 1870 in Republic County, Kansas. In 1900-1910, Elisha and Sarah Ray lived in Gold Hill, Jackson County, Oregon where Elisha worked as a miner in a quartz mine in 1900 and in a gold mine in 1910. In 1900, he reported that in 28 years of marriage his wife had borne 5 children of whom 4 were then living. In 1920, Sarah Ray was now a widow living in Gold Hill.
Children: Erwin W. (April 1877), Nelvie A. (Feb 1879), Henry A. (Oct 1882).
