Arroyo Grande--Frank Thomas Bodine, 64, was born to Tony and Doris Bodine on Feb. 20, 1942, in Visalia, Calif. Tom graduated from Mission High and served in the Korean conflict. He became an iron worker in Local 155, until disability forced early retirement in 1996. Alcoholics Anonymous was his lifeline for the past 10 years, and he was very proud to receive his 10-year chip in March. Tom (called Frank in his recovery years) is survived by his devoted wife, Sonia; daughters, Melanie and Sara; son Scott; sisters, Judy (Giles) Miller, Charlotte (Russell) James and Debra (Brian) Glenn; brother Craig; and his cribbage buddy Joe. The family wishes to thank his Eucharistic Minister Charles Moore and his Hospice partners Wendy, Pat, Chaplain Marilyn and the team. A funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2006, at the Old Mission. Remembrances may be made to Hospice Partners of San Luis Obispo or to A.A., P.O. Box 12737, San Luis Obispo, CA, 93406.
