Notes for: Beulah Viola Bodine

Thomas Bodine said she was a very gracious aunt. She had a very hard life as most people did in her lifetime. He lived through two economic depressions. She loved her Garrett Sweet snuff.

From Ronny Bodine:

Pierce McCane Hyde registered with that name for the World War I draft in Guntersville, Marshall County on 12 Sept 1918. Pierce Hyde drowned in the Paint Rock River and when his body was recovered it was buried at midnight. People who had cars drove them to the cemetery to provide light for the funeral.
