On 16 Oct 1940, Richard Collins Skinkle of Dormont, Pennsylvania registered for the World War II Draft. He reported he was born 29 July 1910 in Oak Park, Illinois, worked for IBM Corp., and named his father, Mr. J. W. Skinkle as his next of kin.

SKINKLE, RICHARD C., 92, of Clearwater Beach, died Tuesday (Jan. 21, 2003) at Cypress Palms, Largo, under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. He was born in Oak Park, Ill., and came here in 1970 from Emmaus, Pa. He was a retired senior engineer and had worked for Western Electric Co. in Allentown, Pa. He was a member of Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Clearwater, and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at Purdue University. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Margaret B.; a daughter, Lenore S. Mulock, St. Petersburg; a sister, Dorothy Skinkle Hardenstein, Cocoa Beach; and a grandson. Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Serenity Gardens Chapel, Largo.

SKINKLE, MARGARET B., 92, of Largo and formerly of Clearwater Beach, died Sunday (May 29, 2005) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. She was born in Chicago and came here in 1970 from Emmaus, Pa. She graduated in 1933 from Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill., where she was a member of the school's first women's water polo team and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She was a member of Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Clearwater, where she was an active volunteer and a member of the St. Theresa Guild. Survivors include a daughter, Lenore S. Mulock, and a grandson, Matthew Collins Mulock, both of St. Petersburg. Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Serenity Gardens Chapel, Largo.
