On 12 Sept 1918, Charles Arthur Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Chicago, Illinois. He reported he was born 29 Jan 1886, worked as department manager of Cornell Wood Products Company and that Olive A. Bodine, of Chicago, his mother, was his next of kin. In 1920, C. A. Bodine lived with his sister Jane and mother in Chicago employed as a salesman of interior decorations. In 1930, Charles and Harriet Bodine lived in Evanston, Cook County, Illinois where he was engaged as a commercial artist. In 1942, he registered for the World War 2 draft in Chicago and reported he was born 29 Jan 1886 in Creston, Iowa and that Lenore Bodine (his niece) was his next of kin. He was buried in Graceland Cemetery in Chicago.
