From Dewey County, Oklahoma Marriage Records:
Lewis J. Bodine, 21, of Foss AND Nettie Berry, 18, of Taloga, both natives of Oklahoma, were married 5 Aug 1916 at Taloga by A. Garwood, County Judge.

On 3 June 1918, Lewis Jackson Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Dewey County, Oklahoma. He reported he was born 30 Oct 1896 in Dewey County, was a self-employed farmer and that Nettie Bodine, his wife, was his next of kin. In 1920, he lived in Taloga, Dewey County engaged in farming and in 1930, as L. Jack Bodine, he worked as a machinist in a garage. In 1942, he registered for the World War II draft as Lewis Jackson Bodine of Loomis, Placer County, California.
