Anderson, Naomi June (nee Bodine), 94 of Breckenridge Hills, Asleep in Jesus, Friday, June 19, 2015. Beloved mother of Lester Anderson and Ron (Mindy Pattee) Anderson; grandmother of Cheryl Anderson-Zingrich, Scott Anderson, Katherine Donnay, Emily McWhite, and Melissa Holten; dear greatgrandmother of 11; mother-in-law of Joyce Anderson; dear daughter of the late William and Gertrude Bodine; dear sister of the William Bodine, Jr.; and dear friend. June was born in St. Louis, graduated in 1938 from Roosevelt High School and was a classically trained violinist. She performed with the St. Louis Philharmonic Orchestra from 1938-40 and was the first woman to sit with them. She retired from the Farm Credit Bank of St. Louis after 30 years and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. In retirement, she enjoyed her family. She was an avid reader, thoughtful conversationalist, and a passionate and supportive parent and grandparent. Services: Visitation at SHEPARD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 9255 Natural Bridge Rd. at I-170, St. Louis, Wednesday, June 24, 11am until the Funeral Service at 1pm. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.
