In 1900, John Bodine, age 35 and single, lived in Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin in the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Edward and Mallie Renoud, employed as an electric light man. In 1920-1930, he lived in Minong, Washburn County, Wisconsin working as a lineman for the telephone company in 1920 and a farm laborer in 1930.
