In 1900, James Bodine lived in Wayne Township, Allen County, Indiana where he worked as a railroad brakeman. He reported that in 13 years of marriage his wife had borne 2 children, both of whom lived with them. In 1910, he lived in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon engaged as a railroad conductor and 1920 in Caliente, Lincoln County, Nevada working again as a brakeman. James and Cora Bodine were buried in Salt Lake City Cemetery, Salt Lake County, Utah. The Utah death certificate, no. 1926-851, of Cora Bodine names her husband James William Bodine and her parents as Wesley and Christena (Palmer) Bell. Cora died of a cerebral hemorrhage.
