Notes for: Theresia Elisabeth Helena ("Tessie, Cora") Buschhorn
The following information comes from Nicole Crockett.
Theresia's birth parents were Ferdinand Buschorn and Agnes Koch. Cora, as she was mostly known in the USA, had two sisters. For the baptism and birth infor, see this:
She and her family came over to the USA on the Oder in 1879:
The three sisters Agnes, Theresa, and Elise are on the list with their Uncle Heinrich and Aunt Agnes Kleine (Maria Agnes Gertrud Koch) who is Maria Theresia Agnes Buschorn's sister. Their father, Ferdinand died in 1872 but mother lived until 1899.
I have the marriage record for Heinrich Kleine and Agnes Koch verifying parent's names that match siblings. Other records confirm that the three girls are nieces.
They are then in the 1880 Census of Winnebago, IL:

Theresa Buschorn living with Aunt and Uncle that she immigrated with (listed as daughters, but they are nieces) Frank Springer, laborer, marries the third sister Agnes who is not listed on this census.

Marriage record for a Therese Buschorn to Alan Bodin 19 Mar 1891 (is Archibald's middle name Alan? Is this the same couple?)
1900 Census in Denver:
Agnes Kline is listed as Mother- in-law but she would be Tessie's aunt
Birth month and year match for Teresa Bodine. Immigration year of 1879 is the same as her sister Agnes Springer.
Marriage year listed as 1884 based on number of years married 16- this does not match previous marriage record found
Archie was born in Kentucky as well as his parents
They have had zero children.
1910 Census in Denver Colorado
Census says they are 45 and 43 and they have been married 26 years.
Marriage 1884- not sure where.
1920 census attached to Archibald Bodine shows married to Cora Bodine and both 52 years old
Actual original record says he is 55
Original says she is 52 and immigrated in 1879 which is the year the three girls immigrated so this has to be Theresa -Census records are not fully accurate on names or maybe she went by Cora?
She was naturalized in 1885 so could look for that record.

She is a 63 year old Widow from Germany who immigrated in 1879
