In 1910, Leona M. Bodine, age 26 and single, lived with her parents in Bedminster Township, Somerset County working as a stenographer for an electric company.

Swell wedding at the home of John Bodine, Gladstone: Miss Leona May Bodine to Charles T. Trimble, of Chicago.

On 12 Sept 1917, Charles Thomas Trimble registered for the World War 1 draft in Chicago, Illinois. He reported he was born 31 Dec 1879, worked as a machinist/foreman for the Empire Cream Sep. Co. and Leona Trimble, his wife, was his next of kin. Charles and Leona Trimble were buried in Peapack Union Cemetery, Gladstone, Somerset County, New Jersey.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the home of Mrs. John Bodine, Prospect street, Peapack-Gladstone, with Rev. Alden T. Smith, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating for Charles Thomas Trimble, 59, who died suddenly Tuesday from coronary thrombosis. He was born in Newark and had lived here only a month. Previous to coming here, Mr. Trimble had resided in Rochester, N.Y. for 14 years. Surviving are his wife, Leona May Bodine Trimble; a brother, John Trimble of Newark, and his stepmother, Mrs. J. B. Norton of Newark. Mr. Trimble was a member of Monitor Lodge, No. 522, F. & A.M., of Elgin, Ill., Damascus Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Rochester, the Rochester Consistory A.A.S.R. Vallen of Rochester and the L. Bordman Smith Camp No. 25 U.S. Spanish War Veterans of Rochester.

Mrs. Leona M. Trimble, 94, of Jackson Ave., Gladstone, died Friday, July 14 at the Greenfield Convalescent Center, Bridgewater Township. Born in Mount Rose, she lived in Chicago and Rochester, N.Y., before moving to Gladstone 35 years ago. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Gladstone and was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 175, of Chester. Her late husband was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. She was one of the last remaining widows of men who served in that war. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 18, at the United Methodist Church of Gladstone. Burial was at Union Cemetery, Gladstone. Contribuitions may be made to the United Methodist Church of Gladstone or the Frank J. Gallow Memorial Fund, c/o L.E. Wolf, Jackson Ave., Gladstone. Arrangements were by Bailey Funeral Home, Peapack.
