Edward Earl Bodine Jr., 58, of Waianae, a former Pan American Airlines passenger service agent, died Aug. 17 in St. Francis-West Hospice. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Magdalene; son Christopher Ayala; daughters Rebecca Bodine, Susan Aki and Penny Jane Donner; sisters Lei Hernandez, Jean Bodine-Woody, Mary Woody and Clare Pagan; and 12 grandchildren. Mass: noon Friday at St. Patrick's Church. Call after 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. Leis only.

She is survived by son Christopher Ayala; daughters Rebecca Boucher, Susan Keawe and Penny Gomes; brothers Stephen and Leo Padasdao and Mark Marquez; sisters Katherine Lee and Earlin Sawyer; 15 grandchildren; and a greatgrandchild. Services: 8:30 a.m. tomorrow at Door of Faith on Haleakala Avenue, Nanakuli. Burial: 2 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual or aloha attire. Flowers welcome.

Magdalene is the daughter of Segundino J. Marquez.
