Marquis P. Struble, 82, of Upper Nazareth Township, formerly of Mount Bethel, died Monday, Oct. 30, in Gracedale, the Northampton County nursing home in Upper Nazareth Township. He was a truck driver for Kearney Trucking in Portland, retiring in 1976. Born March 18, 1918, in Andover, N.J., he was a son of the late William and Mary Skow Struble. He served in the Army during World War II. He and his wife, the former Dorothy B. Bodine, observed their 58th wedding anniversary in May. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert of North Bangor; a daughter, Judy Collins of Bangor; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A sister, Beth Hicks; and a brother, Elton, both died earlier. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Reed/Gaffney Funeral Home, 4 Lillian Lane, Johnsonville. Call from 10 a.m. Thursday to time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery. The family requests memorials to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Dorothy B. Struble, 78, formerly of Mount Bethel died Saturday, Oct. 20, in Easton Hospital. She was a civil service worker at Ogden Air Force Base, Ogden, Utah, during World War II. Born July 8, 1923, in Belvidere, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Alice Dugan Bodine. She was a member of the African Violet Society in Phillipsburg. Her husband, Marquis P., died last year. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Collins of Mount Bethel; a son, Robert of North Bangor; a brother, Harry of Hanes City, Fla.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A brother, Harold; and a sister, Frances Sanders, died earlier. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Reed/Gaffney Funeral Home, 4 Lillian Lane, Johnsonville. Call from 1 p.m. Wednesday to time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery.
