Subject: hi Dave

I found your email address at the 'freepages' website. I recently re-organized my shed and locked away were some old photos of Bodines from 1920's and 1930's, mostly as children. I got them from an elderly friend, Clara Marie Bodine. she went by "Claire" rather than Clara. she was residing in Buena Park CA in the 90's and she had lived there after retirement with her husband Joe (I believe also pictured as an child/young teen) for 25-30 years. she gave them to me in her last years. she seemed to think no one else was interested. I took them for safekeeping and now would like to find Bodines who would want them.

they are all taken with the same camera, sepia colored from age, 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 ". my friend was named as "Dolly" on the backs of the photos and she often told me she was called Dolly by her family in New Jersey.

the other names on the photos seem to be all Bodines - I believe she may have been orphaned and lived with her cousins. she passed about ten years ago in her late 80's (not sure of the years just now) so I don't recall for sure about her family, but I think her parents were gone, and I know she had no children.

named are Dolly, Martha Jane, Margaret Jane, Elizabeth, Alice, Franklyn, and Joe. and a couple of dogs.

I would like to send them to whomever would preserve them and make them available to others. may I send them to you?

thank you for any advice.

[Note from Dave: I wrote back to Genny, but I don't ever remember getting these photos from her. I'm not sure what happened.]
