On 5 June 1917, William Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Spokane, Washington. He reported he was single and employed as a draftsman with the Home Telephone Company.

Wm. E. Bodine of King County AND Jessie Stryker of King County were married 14 Sept 1922 in the home of the bride in Seattle by Ambrose M. Bailey, D.D.

In 1930, William and Jessie Bodine lived in Seattle, King County, Washington where William was employed as an architectural draftsman. After 7 years of marriage the couple had had no children. Jessie was the daughter of Harry and Florence (Crabbe) Stryker.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie C. Stryker Bodine, 62, were held Wednesday in Yakima, where she had resided the past 19 years. Mrs. Bodine, a resident in Seattle 17 years, died last Sunday after an illness of nine months. Mrs. Bodine was born in Rich Hill, Mo. She resided a year in Spokane before she came to Seattle. Here she was active in the First Baptist Church and worked as an accountant for the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Co. Surviving are her husband, William E.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Margaret Schooley and Miss Katherine Stryker, both of Seattle, and a brother, Sylvester Stryker, Detroit.
