SHERIFF'S SALE ON FORECLOSURE. In Circuit Court Fond du Lac County, Wis. Benjamin F. Moore vs. William H. Bodine and Amy V. Bodine. By virtue and in pursuance of a judgment of foreclosure in the above entitled action rendered in said Court at the March term, thereof, bearing date March 20th 1858, I shall sell at public venue to the highest bidder therefore at the Court House in the City and County of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on the 25th day of June 1858 at 10 o'clock A. M. of said day, all those certain pieces or parcels of land lying and being in the City and County of Fond du Lac, and known and described as Lot number fifty-seven (57) in [sentence illegible] in Block ten (10) in Drury's addition to Fond du Lac.---Dated Sheriff's Office, Fond du Lac May 7th 1858. On 15 Aug 1862, he enlisted as a Private in Company H, 21st Wisconsin Infantry (USA) and was mustered out on 8 June 1865.

The 1868 Fond du Lac Gazateer list William and Frank Bodine as carriage painters.

1880 Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac Co., WI: William H. BODINE 56 NJ painter (parents b. NJ), Amy 58 NJ wife, Frank 30 NJ son painter, Emma 28 NJ dau dressmaker, Minnie 19 WI dau.

1885 Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac Co., WI: Wm. H. BODINE, 1 male, 1 female.

On 28 Jan 1889, he applied for an invalid pension in Ohio based upon his military service with Co. H, 21st Wisconsin Infantry. He was granted an invalid pension under certificate 620334.

1900 Xenia, Greene Co., OH: William H. BODINE July 1824 NJ (parents b. NJ) widower carriage painter.

From Wisconsin Death Records:
William H. Bodine, born 3 July 1824 in Madison, New York [sic], son of Wilson B., died 14 May 1904 in Ripon, Fond du Lac, aged 80, widower of Amy Bodine.

p. 1160, biographical sketch of Bradley A. Bowen: "Mr. Bowen was married at Topeka, Kans., May 26, 1879, to Miss Annie Bodine, daughter of William H. and Amey V. Bodine, early settlers of Fond du Lac county, Wisc."

William and Amie (Rousch) Bodine were named as parents of George W. Bodine in the latter's 1931 Washington death certificate.
