In 1900, Charles Berdine lived in Sonora, Hancock County, Illinois where he engaged in farming. He reported that in 6 years of marriage the couple had had 3 children, all then living. In 1910, the family lived in Rock Creek, Hancock County and 1920, as Bordine, in Delavan, Faribault County, Minnesota, where they also lived in 1930.
