VOERTMAN, RUSSELL, of Kansas City, Mo. on Tues. Sept. 15, 1981, beloved husband of Mae Voertman, dear father of Oleta Nichols of Cherokee Village, Ark. and Juanita Mayberry of Carrollton, Mo., grandfather of five grandchildren, great grandfather of eight. Services from Mt. Moriah Funeral Home, Kansas City, Mo., 10 a.m. Thurs. Sept. 17. Graveside services Fri. Sept. 18, 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis County. Mr. Voertman was a 1929 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Mo. Law School. He entered law practice in St. Louis after being admitted to the Bar Association March 27, 1929. He was employed at MacDonald & Just Law Firm until 1940. During WWII he served in the Counter Intelligence Group under General Patton. Following his military service Mr. Voertman became a corporate attorney for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline of Kansas City, Mo. He was a member of the Triangle Club Panhandle Eastern Pipeline, as well as being a member of the Corder of Coif, a scholastic honorary society. Kriegshauser's South service.
