John Forest Bodine was age 6 when living with his parents 1920 in Scranton, Osage County, Kansas. In April 1930, as Forest Bodine, age 16, he worked as a farm laborer for John Supple in Scranton.

BODINE, Claudine Doris (Rashotte) of Standish, Michigan. Claudine, age 97, passed away June 9, 2010 at St. Mary's of Standish Hospital Long Term. She was born on January 15, 1913 to Simon & Emily (Drinkwine) Rashotte in Standish, Michigan. Claudine married John (Jack) Bodine in Standish in 1930. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the K of C, the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church. She loved to play cards and go out dancing. Claudine is survived by her daughter in law Pauline Bodine (Kozlow), her grandchildren Keith and Patricia Bodine, Teresa and Robert Berlin, John Bodine, Tom Bodine and special friend Marge Peters, Joann Bodine and finance Mark Dukaj, Tina and Rich Setlak, three great grandchildren Ashley Berlin, Nichole and Dustin Setlak, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John (Jack) in 1980 and her only son Philip John Bodine in 1988. Funeral services will be held on Monday June 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church with burial in the Pine River Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the R. O. Savage Funeral Chapel in Standish on Sunday June 13, 2010 from l2:00 until 9:00 p.m., there will be an 7:00 p.m. prayer service. R.O. Savage Funeral Chapel Standish, Michigan.
