On 16 Sept 1918, Henry Howard Hall enlisted for the World War 1 draft in Orange County, New York. He reported he was born 12 Nov 1899 and worked as a bookkeeper.

Mrs. Florence Hall, retired teacher of Warwick, N.Y. and widow of the late Howard H. Hall, died October 3 at the Milford Valley Convalescent Home after a long illness. Mrs. Hall, a graduate of Cortland Normal School, taught in the Warwick Elementary School for 47 years prior to her retirement. Born in Ovid in 1895, the daughter of Guy S. Bodine and Philinda Covert, Mrs. Hall has been a resident of Warwick over 60 years. She was a member of the Warwick Reformed Church, the order of Eastern Star, and a former member of the Warwick Summer Chorale. She is survived by two nephews, Harold B. Wyckoff of Ovid and J. Floyd Wyckoff of Williamsburg, Va., also several great-nieces and nephews.
